Watchlist

The watchlist is where you park shows you want to watch next, so they're one tap away when you're ready.

Adding a show

Find a show with the search (the magnifying glass in the nav, or press ⌘K), open it, and tap the bookmark button near the top. The bookmark fills in to show it's saved — tap it again to remove the show. You can bookmark any show, whether or not you've watched it yet.

Your Watchlist page

The Watchlist section lists your bookmarked shows, most recently added first. You can search, filter by genre, and sort — including by when you added each show.

Each poster shows an episodes-left badge, so you can see at a glance how much of a show is still ahead of you. Bookmarked shows also appear in your Shows library, marked with a bookmark icon on the poster. Bookmarking and watching are independent: starting a show doesn't remove it from your watchlist (it just files it under Ongoing in the Shows status filter) — finishing it does.

It tidies itself up

Once you've finished a show that has ended — every regular episode either logged or in a season you marked complete — TVTally automatically removes it from your watchlist. No need to un-bookmark things you've completed.

A show that's still returning stays on the list even when you're all caught up, because there's more coming: you're waiting for the next season, not done with it. Un-bookmark it yourself if you'd rather not wait.

On your dashboard

Your dashboard shows a Watchlist card with a fanned deck of your newest bookmarks and a running count. Tap it to jump to the full list.
