Your diary
Your diary is the heart of TVTally: a dated, star-rated record of every episode you've watched.
Logging an episode
- Open a show and pick a season.
- On the episode, tap Log watch.
- Set Watched on (defaults to today — you can back-date it) and pick a star rating.
- Save.
The episode is marked watched, the season's episodes-left badge updates, and the entry appears in your Diary.
Rewatches
You can log the same episode more than once — each viewing is its own diary entry with its own date and rating. Great for shows you come back to.
Your Diary page
Diary lists everything you've logged, newest first, grouped by month. From here you can:
- Edit an entry — change the date or rating.
- Delete an entry — on a phone, swipe the row left to reveal the actions; on a larger screen, use the ⋯ menu.
- Tap an entry's title to jump straight to that episode in its season.
Marking a whole season done
Watched a season long ago and don't want to log every episode? Open the season and choose Mark season as completed. This clears the season's progress without creating individual diary entries — so those episodes won't count toward your episode or rating stats. (The option disappears once you've already logged every episode.)
Won't finish a show?
On a show you've started but decided to drop, open the ⋯ menu and choose Won't finish. It stops appearing in Up next and Almost there on your dashboard. Change your mind later with Resume show.
